We had a fantastic experience with A 2 Zebras and our guide Lynette. The drive over the Swartberg Pass was stunning, and Lynette’s knowledge of the area — from local farming to nature — made it even more interesting. The loop hike through the fynbos was beautiful and peaceful, a perfect escape from the crowds. We enjoyed the views at the coloured rocks of the surrounding mountains. Lynette is a knowledgeable and caring guide who even prepared a customised lunch for dietary needs, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended — you’re in excellent hands!

Really wonderful experience. Lynette got in touch a few weeks before the night to say that there might not be anything to see as the weather had not been good. We decided to go ahead anyway and were delighted that we did. Lynette is very knowledgeable about the scorpions and other animals in the area. We say plenty of scorpions from tiny babies to quite large adults. My son said it was the best part of our whole trip.

We had a great trek with Lynette in January 26 in a circuit around the Swartberg Pass. Lynette picked us up from our hotel on Oudstshoorn promptly and took us to a 3 hour stunning, informative trek followed by lunch under a lone cork tree under blue skies and the high 20's and views right across the Karoo before taking us back to our hotel in the early afternoon. It was great, and we'll be sure to pick up where we left off next time we visit RSA. Rob

We spent a very happy and informative two days with Lynette. The first was primarily an exploration of the Swartberg Pass, wow what an experience that was! The pass is awesome, and Lynette kept us entertained with the history, flora and fauna of the area. The views are breathtaking and Lynette made sure that we explored enough on foot (but not too much) to really appreciate the environment. The second day we needed to get to Plettenburg Bay, and rather than just drive us there Lynette arranged to stop in various interesting spots along the way always taking account of our particular interests. We would thoroughly recommend Lynette as a guide for the area, the Swartberg Pass trip was probably the best day in our 3 week exploration of Cape Province.

We chose a stargazing adventure through our hotel who use this company. Colin met us at our reception bang on time, and we followed him by car into the fields close to our hotel. It was pitch black apart from the moonlight. Colin offered us wine and he had chairs already set up for us. He guided us through the night sky before us using a laser pointer, and it felt like the South Hemisphere heavens were our amphitheatre. We were enthralled by it all. We watched countless satellites fly over our heads. One by one, Colin focused his telescope on Jupiter, Saturn, Orion's sword, the Southern Cross, the Milky Way, and countless other stars and constellations. It was riveting beyond words. We also got to look at the moon's surface and we could see moon craters like they were just in front of us. We were with Colin for nearly two hours and it seemed to pass in an instant. He was happy to keep showing us stars, but we had meerkats in the early morning so had to call it a night. I'd recommend this trip to anyone with an interest in the night sky. Colin is clearly experienced and made it fun and educational. Bravo!

What a wonderful day we spent with our guide Lynette showing us the Swartberg Pass. We felt totally safe with her expert driving along this challenging road. Lynette is so personable, warm, considerate and her communication style is very friendly and engaging. She is also very knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the land, plants, birds and animals ….. and much much more about South Africa in general. A perfect day. Thank you so much Lynette and we highly recommend you.
