Although the Karoo doesn't offer as wide a variety of bird species as the northern parts of our country, it is home to many endemic or near-endemic species as well as our national bird, the Blue Crane.
Our "Birds of a feather, Wine together" experience is a morning of fresh air and exercise while searching for some of these species, followed by a The Goose wine-tasting experience and light lunch.
Join us and let Lynette share some interesting facts about the birds in the area with you.
Louvain Guest Farm is a tranquil working farm situated in the upper Langkloof Valley, halfway between George and Uniondale in the Western Cape. Louvain offers self-catering chalets as well as camping sites, for the more adventurous among us. Invite your friends and family and stay for the weekend.
Our experiences are kept small and intimate so make sure to book to avoid missing out.
